Died on July 21, 2005, in Vancouver General Hospital, of a lung infection.

Herbie Mann (Herbie Mann)
Died at age 73 on July 1, 2003 after a long battle with prostate cancer.

Jimmy O’Neill (Stonehenge)
Died on September 2001 of brain cancer.

Randy Lewis (Stonehenge)
Died in early 2001 of a heart attack.

Cub Koda (Brownsville Station)
Died on July 1, 2000 of  a kidney disease.

Glen Buxton (Alice Cooper)
Died of complications from pneumonia on October 19, 1997.

Ronnie Lane (Faces)
Died of multiple sclerosis on June 4, 1997.

Gerry Mulligan (Dave Brubeck)
Died on January 20, 1996 following complications from knee surgery.

Loughty Lasisi Amao (Osibisa)
Died in 1988 in the United States after being shot by a neighbor during a quarrel.

Barry Oakley (Allman Brothers Band)
Died on November 11, 1972 of  cerebral swelling (caused by a fractured skull) three hours after a motorcycle accident.
